Candi Higley – Spanish Fork Press

Hundreds gathered on the lawn of the city park on Sunday, July 19, to visit with family and friends and enjoy the music of Nathan Osmond. The evening began with a welcome by Richard Davis, who recognized Lil and Terry Shepherd, the Fiesta Days Committee Chair people as well as Jack and Deanna Swenson, the Grand Marshal’s for this year’s parade.

Osmond then took the stage and entertained singing a variety of musical numbers from Keith Urban to Garth Brooks. Osmond turned the event in a family event when he invited his Grandmother to the stage to sing a number with him and then danced with his Aunt Kay during the program as well. Osmond’s mother is a Pinegar from Spanish Fork.

Osmond finished up the evening with a patriotic number and invited those in attendance to sing a long with him. Osmond then stayed after the concert to visit with fans and sign autographs. Osmond invited local author, LuAnn Staheli, who recently wrote the book, “When Hearts Conjoin,” the story behind the conjoined Herrin twins. Staheli was in attendance to sell her book and autograph books of those in attendance.
